Our SEANZ-backed solar training gives registered electricians real hands-on skills with PV systems, battery storage, and off-grid power. You'll get stuck into the actual work you'll be doing on job sites.
These Level 4 qualifications (4555, 4556, 4557) count towards your EWRB endorsement. You'll learn from tradies who know solar inside and out through a mix of online and workshop training that fits around your work.
SOLAR MICRO-CREDENTIALS
Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Systems (GCPV)
Learn to design, install, and commission grid-connected solar PV systems. Foundation training for electricians entering solar.
Duration: 76 hours of online learning, followed by a 3-day in-person course

Grid-Connected Battery Systems (GCBS)
Add battery storage to grid-connected PV systems. Design, install, and maintain battery storage solutions.
Duration: 76 hours of online learning, followed by a 3-day in-person course

Stand-Alone Power Systems (Design & Installation)
Design and install complete off-grid renewable energy systems. Advanced training for complex standalone power solutions.
Duration: 152 hours of online learning, followed by a 4-day in-person course
